We are the Section for Sound Studies of the Society for Ethnomusicology!

We are happy to launch this official website to keep in touch with our members and the public. We aim to share news about our section, such as calls for sponsored panels, student paper prizes, the annual Sounding Board, and committee recruitment. We are excited to share the work/record of previous Sounding Board exhibitions and the pedagogical materials circulated in the Sound Studies in the Curriculum during SEM annual conferences.
